What kind of behavior can I expect?

These bears are curiously irritating yet are rather intelligent. They are active throughout the day but especially active during the early morning or evening. They enter a period of dormancy, but it is not true hibernation. It's merely the time it's taking to figure out what to do next. When this bear arrives at a conclusion to a problem it generally will move anything and anyone that happens to be in his way to complete his objective.

What about the young?

The young tend to be quite hyper, and rarely ever listen to the adult bears. The "father" bear normally will sit in his "cave" yelling at the smaller bear, while the "mother" bear is sitting back in what experts classify as a "drunken stooper".
